Afrofuturism: Embracing a Better Future through Science Fiction

We had a lively panel discussion about all things Afrofuturism on Thursday, March 12th, just before COVID-19 shut everything down.

Quentin VerCetty moderated the discussion, and I shared the panel with authors Tony Liburd and Chinelo Onwualu. Be sure to check out their work by clicking on their names.

Unfortunately, I couldn't record the whole discussion; the battery on my camera ran out; however, you can still enjoy the first 28 minutes (approx.) of the event by watching the video below.

I need to send a big shout-out to the Freinds of the Merril Collection for hosting and organizing the event.

I hope all of you are keeping safe amid this quarantine and, in the meantime, enjoy.
