Lip Sync Animation Test

Preliminary work on the Black Sun animated web series continues. Today I did a short animation test to test out the lip-sync feature in CrazyTalk Animator 3. Take a look at the results.

The Tools

To create this animation I used:

Unlike my last animation test, I wanted to make use of the bone animation and lip-sync features in CrazyTalk Animator 3. I didn't do a lot of refinement as this was only a proof of concept. Regardless I'm happy with the results.

The Voice Acting

Don't mind the audio track. It in no way represents how this character is supposed to sound. I needed female dialogue that I could use as a test. I did a quick search on freesound.org and this what came up in the results.

It's more depressing than I would like it to be, but the benefit is that it gave me a chance the use of facial expression puppeteering features in CrazyTalk Animator 3.

The Animation

Take a look, provide your constructive feedback and enjoy.
