DAZ Quick Tips: Using multiple cameras

DAZ's perspective view

Even though I have a background in photography it took a while for me to realize that the "perspective view" in DAZ Studio is the equivalent of looking through a camera viewfinder.

Using the "perspective view" will get the job done when it comes to composing your shots but it is limited.

Enter the camera

An excellent way to give yourself more options is to create a camera and use that to frame your shots. Using a camera will allow you to adjust the:

  • Frame width
  • Focal length
  • Depth of field
  • Focal distance
  • F-stop

This video will show you how to create a virtual camera for your scene(s) and have more control over the look of your final images.
